Dorothy Roberson is a singer/ dancer from Dumas, Arkansas; now residing in Chicago and known as “Chicago’s Tina Turner”. Her vocal roots are in traditional gospel, but has captured the vocal ranges of Tina Turner, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and many others. A painful divorce, which left her homeless, set her on course to heal herself and others through entertainment; from the streets to any stage, she motivates life with her voice and testimonies; her story is covered by many news media references. She began her reconstruction singing to tracks in front of the Chicago Theater for survival. From news popularity, Resturant’s and other venues requested her gifts. Now with a five piece band of truly gifted musicians, she is ready to touch your heart, mind and soul!
